You know, the important ones.
Arbor is a social media consolidation app that I designed alongside a team for the 2016 Startup Bus competition.
“Equal parts hackathon, road trip and global community, StartupBus is an annual competition designed to empower the tech community – challenging top tier talent to hop on a bus and conceive, build and launch a startup in 72 hours.”

Freelance print and digital production work at Droga5 for the Google Pixel launch.
Difficult: building a million (give or take a few) banner ads in multiple languages.
More difficult: not telling anyone what I was working on.

Our team created these eye-catchingly adorable public service announcements for the MBTA in partnership with GIPHY. While there may not have been a reduction in manspreading, there were definitely more smiling faces in the subway.
Grades of Green is a non-profit that works to provide fun and educational sustainability programs to schools across the country.
"Grades of Green is changing the course of the future by instilling environmental values in students today."
There was a point where I did most of the print work for Mohegan Sun. Magazines, billboards, subway takeovers...hey, my work was even on trash cans!
Kustom eLiquids came to us with the challenge of building their company from the ground up. I created a logo system for them along with a complete style guide and packaging line for their UK brand, which can be found at www.kustomvape.com
When Kraft launched the A.1. for Life Games on Facebook, they needed outrageous rewards for the most outrageous fans. Challenge winners received prizes such as a watch, hat, and belt buckle—all designed to conceal packets of A.1. Steak Sauce. As digital artist on the A.1. account at CP+B, I made sure the files for these crazy displays of allegiance were ready for production.
Custom typography for a wedding invitation.
Kraft launched Garland Jack’s barbecue sauce with the Summer of Sauce ‘Em Tour, a cookout taken across America. Part of the event was an eating contest in which contestants wore our very own Paper Towel Track Suits. In addition to setting up mechanicals for promotional posters and billboards, I also created this packaging for the suits to be sent off to each Sauce ‘Em city.
The Montgomery County Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization in the New River Valley whose goal is to help improve local schools. I worked as part of a team to develop a logo and website for this client. My duties included designing the website focusing on raising money and awareness for this organization.

The Moore Push-Pin Company invented the push-pin in 1900. Since push-pin technology hasn’t changed dramatically, I wanted to keep their retro look, but modernize the color scheme and functionality of the packaging.
Awards: Silver Addy 2013
I was asked to create a line of paint for a niche audience (twenty-somethings who rent and aren’t allowed to paint their walls) and bring the product to market. I developed a product called Paint & Peel, a removable wall paint that users could easily remove when their rental agreement expires.
Reach me down my Tycho Brahe, I would know him when we meet,
When I share my later science, sitting humbly at his feet;
He may know the law of all things, yet be ignorant of how
We are working to completion, working on from then to now.
Pray remember that I leave you all my theory complete,
Lacking only certain data for your adding, as is meet,
And remember men will scorn it, 'tis original and true,
And the obloquy of newness may fall bitterly on you.
But, my pupil, as my pupil you have learned the worth of scorn,
You have laughed with me at pity, we have joyed to be forlorn,
What for us are all distractions of men's fellowship and smiles;
What for us the Goddess Pleasure with her meretricious smiles!
You may tell that German College that their honor comes too late,
But they must not waste repentance on the grizzly savant's fate.
Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light;
I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.
“Zen does not confuse spirituality with thinking about God while one is peeling potatoes. Zen spirituality is just to peel the potatoes.”
– Alan Watts
The Periodic Table provided a perfect base for Element e-liquids, an extensive and ever-growing line of flavors and strengths. Our team created packaging, tradeshow displays, and a website that carried Element from concept to an award-winning international brand.
Blown ink roses created for a CFF benefit.
"The '65 Roses' story dates back to 1965 when an observant 4-year-old, hearing the name of his disease for the first time, pronounced cystic fibrosis as '65 Roses.' Today, '65 Roses' is a term often used by young children with cystic fibrosis to pronounce the name of their disease."

The weather gets a little crazy in Blacksburg. My friends like to complain about it on social media.
Created during my time at FourDesign, the Virginia Tech College of Science brochure highlights each of its departments in a clean, modern way.
